Rule Changes for 2013:

The BMFA Scale Rule Book is currently being rewritten with the aim of making it easier to understand and amend. As far as free flight scale is concerned there are only three fundamental rule changes, the rest of the rewrite should only make clear the intent of existing rules.

The main changes are:
- The indoor weight limit will be 200gm. The wing loading limit will remain the same at 15 gm/sq dm. Competitors are advised to check the 'General Rules' for the definition of wing area when calculating wing loading:

General Rule 1.2.2.1 (Dimensions of Model Aircraft) (a): ........The total surface of the wings and the horizontal stabilising surface(s) must be
less than or equal to 150 sq. decimetres (16.14 sq.ft.). The surface taken will be
the total of the orthogonal projections of all flying surfaces onto the horizontal
plane in the position of horizontal flight. In the case of wings or empennages
attached to the body of the machine, the surface taken will include the complete
centre of the fuselage(s), the normal contour lines of the surfaces being supposed
to be extended until they meet the plane of symmetry of the machine in plan view.

note that both the tail/foreplane and the wing area are used in the calculation and that the area of the wing and tail/foreplane bounded within the fuselage also counts. Beware of using manufacturers values as they sometimes exclude the areas of the control surfaces.

- Winners of CO2/Electric, Open Rubber or Kit Scale in the previous five years will not be eligible to enter Kit Scale. This is to prevent the 'experts' from monopolising what was conceived as a beginners event.

- A formal declaration has been introduced for indoor and outdoor free flight scale to bring us into line with RC and Control line - see attached file.

Given the response to my request for comment, I've decided not to change the bonus for electric multi-engined models for 2013. I would like to rationalise the position, however, so I'm now asking for more comments. See 'Future of CO2 and the Electric Multi Bonus' below.

Tak už jsem si to zjistil přímo v pravidlech BMFA - třeba to bude zajímat i ostatní:
Kit Scale Class stručně:

Max hmotnost 150g (s motorem)
Maxplošné zatížení 15g/dm2
Pohon guma, CO2 nebo electric

Model musí být postaven ze stavebnice a to buď originální, nebo z dílů vyrobených stavitelem, ovšem podle autentického plánu. Oproti originálu může být použit jiný pohon, vrtule nebo podvozek (kolečka).
Obodováním 0 - 100 se hodnotí čistota stavby (60%), autenticita kamufláže (zbarvení) a markingu (20%), celkový dojem (20%). Jako podklady stačí stavební plán a barevné schéma dobově odpovídající předloze. Očekává se, že modely budou potaženy obarveným papírem, s namalovanými detaily nebo obtisky. Stříkané modely mohou soutěžit také, ale dostanou 5 bodů minus (odečteno od statického skore).
V letové části se hodnotí start, stoupání, výdrž a přiblížení na přistání, kvalita přistání a realismus letu. Každá tato fáze letu je hodnocena známkou 0 - 10. Realismus letu má pak dvojnásobnou váhu co ostatní hodnocené fáze.
Výsledek je dán součtem (agregací) statické a letové části - vždy nejlepší dvě hodnocení (od dvou různých bodovačů).

Normálně jsem kliknul přímo na odkaz a hned to naskočilo. Nevidím problém
Až na to, že je to anglicky Pochopitelně .

Funguje to normálně, ale je to .PDF, takže to chce implementovat do prohlížeče PDF pluggin nebo vysvětlit počítači že PDF má otvírat v příslušném programu.
